These tips may help you turn your grill into a great success!
We love good barbecues and the official season has now begun. When even halfway temperatures are decent enough for us to go out and grill some food in the garden, we'll do it. We also love inviting our friends and family to come and join us for a fun barbecue. Do you also enjoy good barbecue and want to impress your friends with your barbecue skills? Then these seven tips will definitely be useful!
These barbecue tips will take your barbecue skills to the next level!
1. Coal
To be able to roast, you'll need charcoal. If you are the type of BBQ-er that spreads charcoal over the entire grill, we are here to let you know that this is your first big mistake. Use different smarter regions. By working with the hot and cold areas on the grill, you can put a piece of meat that is not yet finished on the inside but is starting to become really brown on the outside on a cooler part of the grill. No more sausages and hamburgers burned from now on!
2. Onions and herbs
Do you want to add more flavor to the food you smear? Cut a large onion in half and rub the onions inside on the barbecue grill. This will do two things: it will provide more flavor to the food but will also help to clean the grill. So, it's smart to do this while you're progressing as well. Another smart tip is to throw some fresh rosemary on a charcoal to give your grilled food a pleasant smoky flavor.
3. Heat
Is it time to grill hamburger and steak? Then heat is your best friend. To check if the barbecue is hot enough, you can keep your hands 10 centimeters above the metal grid and count: twenty one, twenty two ... do you have to pull your hand away at this point as it gets hotter? Then you know it's time to wear burgers and steaks. You don't have to cook the steak all the way, so it doesn't burn. The burgers will also not burn because they have a lot of grease.
4. Skewers are edible
We usually use wooden or metal skewers for known barbecue skewers. But did you know that you can also use edible skewers? Try using a rosemary branch, for example. Remove the leaves on the way and stick the skewer through the meat. Meat will also acquire a very rich flavor like this!
5. Lemon
Those of you who have tried grilling fish before they know how hard it is when the fish stick to the grill net. The simple solution to this problem is to place a few tablets of lemon on the net and place the fish on top. This way, the fish will not stick to and also have an additional fresh flavor due to the lemon.
6. Snow cube
It may sound strange, but ice cubes can help you grill the perfect burger. To prevent the burgers from getting too dry, all you have to do is place an ice cube on top of the burger when grilling. It will ensure that the meat remains completely tender.
7. Clean the network
When the grill is over, it is best to clean the grill grid as soon as it cools. This way, food particles are prevented from attaching to the net. An easy way to clean the grill is with a steel brush or a few pieces of cut aluminum foil to rub it.
